Zach Rehl, A Travesty of Justice

Zach Rehl is a patriot. He served his country and received an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps with a 100% disability rating from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Then something unprecedented happened. The Federal Bureau of Intimidation raided his home on March 17th, 2021, arrested him, and threw him in jail for peacefully protesting the 2020 Presidential election at the Capitol, on January 6th, 2021.

Zach didn’t attack the U.S. Capitol Police. His own father and grandfather were Philadelphia cops. Zach didn’t break anything, or even hurt anyone’s feelings with harsh words. He made no threats. He simply exercised his right to free speech as an American citizen. But he committed a cardinal sin in the eyes of a rabidly partisan DOJ. Zach is a member of the Proud Boys, and Joe Biden’s Department of Justice charged him with seditious conspiracy. And Zach was held without bail the entire time he was in custody.

And to add insult to injury, the VA notified his wife, Amanda, that they were cutting off Zach’s disability payments because he had been charged with seditious conspiracy. Just charged – not convicted! As you can imagine, all of this has been brutally hard on Zach, his wife, and two daughters.

If the Biden Justice Department and it’s goon agency, the FBI, can push around and seek to destroy a peaceful, disabled Marine veteran for exercising his right to free speech, they can push you and me, our families, friends, and fellow Americans around, too. You and I, and the people we love in are in grave danger. Zach warns about that in a letter to his wife:

“They are jailing innocent people on bogus and trumped-up charges because those people simply supported the sitting president Donald Trump at the time; which is absolutely insane. If you think it can’t happen to you, look at me, because if it can happen to me, trust me, it can happen to you.”

James Madison, one of the founding fathers of our Constitution, made the observation that most nations fail by small incremental changes from within, rather than foreign invasions.

To our detriment, power hungry leftists have been at work in our country for a very long period of time, they have corrupted every American institution, and people don't don’t even recognize the signs of our decay, nor how it's happening. We didn't get here overnight, and that's also by design. Ironically, just a few months ago, was the 74th anniversary of the release of George Orwell’s dystopian novel, “1984.” 

I’m not sure if it’s not too late to save our country. The 2024 election of Donald Trump was a blessing. A move in the right direction. Trump has corrected many wrongs but it isn’t enough yet. Not yet. Not by a long shot. I’m not sure four years is enough to reverse over 100 years of leftist corruption of our system of governance. I, for one, am not optimistic. After all, our government remains full of bureaucratic leftists.
