Iran Can’t Be Allowed Nuclear Weapons

Many imbeciles on the left, including Democrats, will argue what right does the United States has in denying Iran Nuclear technology? That  countries like India and their traditional rival, Pakistan – a Muslim nation – have nuclear weapons. True but in liberal-progressive fashion, they leave one important detail out.

I will give them the benefit of the doubt and say they’re just ignorant on what the rulers of Iran are. Ever hear of the Doctrine of Mahdism? It is a belief that centers around the Mahdi, a figure in Islamic eschatology, who will appear to rid the world of evil and injustice. This figure is often associated with the “end times” and is considered a savior figure by many Muslims.

While the concept is central to the branch of Shia Islam, it is also present in Sunni Islam, though, with some differences in interpretation and emphasis. Muslims in general, believe in the last (the 12th) Mahdi, but most don’t want to bring about the end of times, or what we call Armageddon.

However, there are many others, particularly, of the Shia branch that rules Iran, who believe it is their “divine duty” to accelerate the arrival of the 12th Mahdi, thereby, the end of times.

These obsessed individuals are in fact, what some call “The Death Cult of the Mahdi," not a widely recognized or established term, but real just the same. Others refers to the group with a more sanitized term, The “Soldiers of Heaven,” whom, ironically enough, were Shia-hating Sunni Iraqi insurgents. Anyway you put it, the rulers of Iran are an apocalyptic Muslim Death cult.

Even our foreign adversaries, China and Russia, understand the irreversible consequences of nuclear warfare. The old Soviets themselves were deathly afraid of the United States, the only nation in history, to ever deploy nuclear weapons against an enemy, Imperial Japan in WW2.

We cannot allow these apocalyptic Muslim fanatics, who believed that by creating chaos they will hasten the return of the Mahdi, to develop nuclear weapons as they will use them on either Israel, or neighboring Sunni rivals. Something Pakistan would never do even against its most hated rival, India.
