Iran And The Midterms

I am a Trump supporter and I am concerned of where we are three weeks out from the midterms. We find ourselves exactly where we didn’t want to be. Everything is going wrong for Trump and the GOP, at the worst possible time. And the leftist media is too eager to amplify it.

The problem is the president has dragged out the aerial assault against Iran instead of bringing it to an acceptable conclusion. I know, you may not want to believe it, but we know that the Pentagon told the president they wanted 15 more days of bombing Iran before we stopped and the president decided not to do it. Why?

Because his economic advisors and the JD Vance team spooked him into not continuing. They made the argument about market concerns, fears of hyperinflation and an inevitable second Great Depression. Now we're in a situation where Iran has not only survived and is rebuilding, they’re actually striking out and projecting their power across the Middle East, which is on fire.

Here, we’re having to import beef from Argentina, which is actually making the cattle ranchers in Nebraska angry. That's why Pete Ricketts is in trouble out there. We're hurting the farmers in Iowa, which is why the farmers in Iowa are putting Iowa at risk of a democratic takeover.

Now we're going to buy diesel from Russia? Are you serious?

I don’t understand why? When we have a neighbor, who is a major diesel exporter that we could be buying from. It's called Canada. Instead, the president decided to go with Russia. Why would he rather buy diesel from the Russians, who will use the money to further fund their war against Ukraine? I don’t get it.

We're in a situation right now where the president, who claims to be for America first, is going to import beef from Argentina instead of from our ranchers, we're going to import diesel from Russia, and our farmers are getting screwed by diesel costs and no one wants to buy their products because of tariffs.

And the president's core supporters will believe anything the president says. The other day he turned around to the crowd and says, “y'all will clap for anything I say, won't you?” And the crowd clapped to the shouts of yes. The seal clappers will clap and believe that China is actually buying our farm exports, and yet the data shows they're not.

There are farmers right now filing for bankruptcy because they can’t afford the cost of diesel and can’t sell their crops because of tariffs and they are furious with the president and might just vote Democrat in November to make a point.

We've got massive inflation now. Everything is more expensive. Interest rates are going to go up again. The bond market is imploding. We've got gas and diesel prices going up again. And by the way, don't look now, but the Iranians have now attacked more ships in the Strait of Hormuz. The Iranians have targeted 8 vessels since Sunday and sunk three, one of which was a massive 2500 container vessel.

And what in the hell is the president doing? Nothing! Except say we aren’t going to attack Iran until after the midterms. What?!? Since when is it a sound tactical strategy to tell your opponent when you’re going to attack?

Does he actually want the Democrats to take over in November? I know that sounds absurd. But  this doesn’t make sense. The stakes couldn’t be higher.

If the Democrats win the midterms, Trump will be impeached and removed from office along with his cabinet. And then they will undo everything Trump has accomplished and that’s just the beginning.
