Words Are Now Violence

The American Left has adopted the philosophy that “words are violence,” and as such, it must be responded to with not words – but physical violence. Understand what I’m saying. To the left, anyone saying something that offends, discredits or challenges their world view or established narrative, is in itself, an act of violence, therefore, the only way to respond is through violence not debate.
The 1990’s book by Judith Butler, “Gender Trouble: Feminism and the Subversion of Identity,” in which she makes the argument that gender is a cultural construct, is the holy scriptures for the trans movement. She was writing about gender violence, describing it as a violence of categorization. The queer theory follows accordingly, in that a form of violence occurs when someone is rejected by their sexual orientation. This manipulation of language makes is justifiable to respond to words with violence.
This is all the more significant with Charlie Kirk’s murder, because he was a huge advocate of free speech. He was Mr. debate. He was the guy going to that epicenter of the stifling of conservative voices and free speech, colleges and universities. And speaking to people with a different opinion who felt empowered to debate him with the support of their peers surrounding them against Charlie all by himself. But in doing so, Kirk so irritated a whole group of people, who believe that violence can be delivered through words, therefore, can be responded to with physical violence.
I think there’s a message behind Kirk’s murder. Watch your mouth or else. Like the recent controversy surrounding a Chinese student at Oberlin college, in Ohio, Julia Xu, who casually called for “political assassinations to continue,” in the wake of the targeted killing of Charlie Kirk.
Xu is on the advisory board of a campus group called “The Gender, Sexuality and Attraction Initiatives,” an office that supports queer, trans and women’s programming at the school. Xu, who uses they/them pronouns, is also a member of Students for a Free Palestine.
Julia Xu echoed the words of Mao: “People deserve free speech, but there should not be free speech for reactionaries and imperialists and capitalists.” She continued: “I don’t feel bad and I don’t think that everyone deserves the right to free speech. Some people should be afraid to express their opinion in public.”
Julia Xu’s words clearly demonstrate what America is up against. There is no denying it anymore. Our universities are full of foreign exchange students, particularly, from Communist China, over 500,000 at last count, who feel free to use our First Amendment to infect their fellow students with their political ideology and spread hate against anyone who challenges them.
Combine the anti-American message of these foreigners with that of the American Left, who have developed a framework for violence, and you have a recipe for revolutionary chaos. We are already seeing the first shots, no pun intended.
